The solid rod heat treatment production line is purpose-built for the full-body heat treatment of automotive stabilizer bars (anti-roll bars / torsion bar springs), integrating induction heating, through-hardening quenching, and tempering into a fully automated and coordinated workflow that meets the demanding requirements for high strength and fatigue life.
The core heating unit employs medium-frequency induction heating technology, rapidly bringing the entire solid rod to the target quenching temperature in minimal time. This significantly reduces surface oxidation and decarburization, ensures uniform temperature distribution from surface to core, and effectively eliminates the risk of overheating.
Custom-designed induction coils tailored to each stabilizer bar specification enable precise control over the quenching zone, ensuring a uniform hardened layer. The resulting parts retain a substantial tough core beneath the hardened surface with favorable compressive residual stress, delivering marked improvements in fatigue resistance and fracture toughness.
A closed-loop infrared temperature monitoring and control system continuously tracks discharge temperature in real time, maintaining high process accuracy and stable parameters to ensure consistent quality and pass rates across batch production.
The system achieves approximately 60% energy savings over conventional heating methods and around 20% over thyristor-based equipment. Operating without high-voltage hazards, with a compact footprint and low thermal radiation, the line runs continuously for 24 hours with reliable stability, a clean working environment, and straightforward maintenance.
Developed and manufactured by Wuxi Microenergy CNC Technology Co., Ltd., the line carries extensive mass-production experience in the automotive components sector, with exports spanning Southeast Asia, South America, Africa, and Eastern Europe, supported by comprehensive after-sales service and customizable turnkey solutions.
